MASHABLE - Nov 19 - According to multiple reports, the company has canceled the rollout of the watch worldwide due to an unspecified "hardware issue." AT&T started notifying customers of a "quality issue" with the watch, offering them a refund. LG says it's unsure whether the device will be available in the future, which will be decided "at a later time."
LG's Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE Will Cost $300
THE VERGE - Nov 2 - The Android Wear smartwatch with built-in LTE connectivity will be available for purchase starting on November 13th. The watch will be one of the first devices to support AT&T's new NumberSync service, which lets users make and receive phone calls and SMS messages from a connected device with their main phone number.
LG Kids Wearables For Verizon Leaked
UBERGIZMO - Nov 2 - In a recent tweet it was revealed that LG has two wearables in the works for kids that are headed for Verizon. According to the leak, they are named the LG GizmoPal 2 and the GizmoGadget. The original GizmoPal was designed to be a simple wearable that allowed parents to keep track of their kids. However with the successor, LG has introduced a screen which presumably will allow it to display new information like notifications and alerts. Both wearables are also apparently able to answer calls and make calls.
Samsung, LG Tap Battery Biz For Wearables
GLOBAL POST - Oct 20 - Samsung SDI unveiled two types of flexible the ultra-slim, 0.3mm-thin stripe battery is a next-generation battery made with fiber which enables far greater flexibility than existing bendable cells, and the band-type battery is designed to be used in smartwatches and is proven to resist over 50,000 bendings and enhance a gadget's capacity by up to 50%.
LG Chem also put on display a wristband-type battery called "wire battery" that can be folded into half. The company developed a wire-type battery in 2013 for the first time in the world, before it came up with the world's first hexagonal-shape battery in June.

LG Nemo Boasts A High Screen Resolution Of 480 x 480
TECH TIMES - Aug 15 - Presently, the maximum resolution touted by a smartwatch's screen is 320 x 320 pixels and 319 x 390 pixels for the LG Urbane and the Apple Watch respectively. If the current rumor has any grain of truth in it, then the supposed LG watch that has the codename "Nemo" would be the first to tout a high pixel density for Android Wear-powered smartwatches.

VENTURE BEAT - Feb 11 - A new report by Canalys Research said Motorola’s Moto 360 led the pack in sales of Android Wear smartwatches. LG’s round G Watch R performed significantly better than its original squarish G Watch. Pebble shipped a total of 1 million units from its 2013 launch through to the end of 2014. Fitbit remained the global leader in the basic wearable band market. Xiaomi shipped more than a million of its $13 Mi Bands.
