IBTIMES - Oct 18 - The Amazon glasses are expected to work with a mobile device like tablet to display AR content. Unlike some of the recently developed smart glasses, the patent suggests that Amazon's smart glasses would have the ability to switch from a 3D screen to a transparent glass panel. This hints at the presence of mixed reality that would let viewers interact with the real world at the same time wearing the glasses.

VENTURE BEAT - Jun 18 - The glasses sport a wearable computer that recognizes where objects are located in a given area. The glasses also have an imaging sensor that could recognize objects associated with a given task. The sensor might also recognize package markings like mailing addresses, bar codes, or QR codes.
MOBILE SYRUP - May 11 -The portal features wearables in a variety of categories, from health and wellness to fitness tracking bands, cameras, smartwatches, golf watches, hiking watches and kids wearables.
GUARDIAN - Apr 1 - The Dash Button, about the size of a doorbell button, covered in a brightly coloured brand representing what will be bought if the button is pushed connects to the internet via home Wi-Fi and can be configured with the Amazon shopping smartphone app to purchase a specific item.
VATOR - Mar 13 - While no financial terms of the deal were disclosed, it was revealed that 2lemetry will remain operating independently from Amazon. The acquisition comes only a couple of months after 2lemetry raised $4M in funding from Salesforce Ventures and several private investors, bringing its total amount raised to $9M.

TWICE - Nov 19 - The category is quickly becoming one of its most popular, and has enjoyed a triple-digit sales increase YOY since the company launched a Wearable Technology section in April. It later added more than 200 products, giving the cyber store “the largest selection of wearable devices anywhere,” the company said. The expansion continues this week with the launch of two new categories — smart glasses and smart sports accessories — plus a number of exclusive items.
