INFORMATION WEEK - Jun 3 - Wearable makers shipped 11.4M devices during Q1, according to IDC, a 200% increase from Q1 2014. Fitbit ranked as the number one wearable maker by volume (34.2% of market). Xiaomi followed with 26.4% of the market and Garmin with 6.1% of the market. Smartwatches didn't make much of an impact in shipments.
