KANSAS CITY BUSINESS JOURNAL - Jan 12 - The Olathe-based GPS giant announced developer deals with Tempo, LifeLine Response, AccuWeather, iSKI, Komoot, Octane Fitness and Moxy that will create apps for a few of its fitness products, including the vívoactive, epix, fenix 3 and Forerunner 920 XT. The firms will offer apps like calendars, personal safety, air quality and allergy information, snow reports, trail navigation, workouts and a muscle oxygen sensor interface to users of Garmin's wearables.
