TELECOMPAPER - Jan 19 - Epson and i2CAT have signed an agreement to create a research centre in Catalonia to develop new apps and services for Epson's wearable tech products, above all its Moverio range of smart glasses. According to the partners, the Moverio Competence Centre will act as a European reference centre for research into the use of augmented reality in the professional field, while consolidating Catalonia’s position as a strategic meeting point for developers, customers and suppliers of smart glass applications.
