READ WRITE - Aug 29 - Samsung has announced the new Gear S, which features a curved 2" AMOLED display, 3G connectivity, GPS, Bluetooh and Wi-Fi. The smartwatch pairs with a Galaxy smartphone to receive text and email notifications. The device also comes with the Gear Circle Bluetooth headphones that allow the user to make and receive phone calls. Samsung chose to use its own Tizen OS for the Gear S.
