THE NEXT WEB – July 9 – LG has unveiled its KizON wristband designed primarily for parents to track the real-time location of their young children using GPS and Wi-Fi, transferring the information to a smartphone or tablet. The KizON also features a one step direct call button which lets parents call their children. If the call is not answered within 10 seconds, KizON will automatically connect and let the parent listen through the built-in mic. The battery lasts 36 hours. A number of accessories will be available to customize the KizON for the child.
