Wearable Data Security An Increasing Concern

CNBC - June 16 - Wearables will likely be the next wave of BYOD in the workplace, bringing with it new security concerns. As the devices become an integral part of our daily lives, the data they generate becomes more personal and attractive to cybercriminals. Security should be a focus during development, not an afterthought. Wearables can also be used to increase security, as demonstrations using FitBit and Pebble to allow for easier log-in on phones and tablets have shown.
