WSJ - June 27 - Performance Lab Technologies received an undisclosed amount of financial backing from Intel Capital. The company's ARDA automatic activity tracking software is in the final stages of testing. Performance Labs hopes to announce deals for ARDA to be used in a number of wearables before Christmas. The health-tracking wearables market generated $1.6B+ in sales last year, a number projected to hit $5B by 2016, according to Gartner.
