ADWEEK – June 25 – The Mobile Marketing Association has added a wearables category to its Smarties Awards. Wearables will be grouped under devices including appliances, cars, smartwatches, bands, bracelets, glasses or other objects that snap or clip on to a consumer. Submissions will be judged based on how it interacts and connects with other devices. MMA is accepting Smarties submissions through June 30, with the ceremony held in October.
