CNET NEWS - June 14 - HP CEO Meg Whitman, Intel CEO Brian Krzanich, and Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella recently discussed the issue of data overload at HP's Discover conference. As the number of IoT devices and wearables increase along with phones and tablets, data volumes become unfathomable and unmanageable, according to Whitman. Data needs to be succinct, highly personal, and easily digestible to be beneficial. Krzanich and Nadella admit that the data overload problem is not solved yet. HP has announced a project called The Machine, with the goal of reinventing the compute paradigm.
