TECH IN ASIA - June 26 - According to a study by Mobile Marketing Data Laboratory, 28.2% of Japanese are interested in using a wearable, and 22.7% are neutral and could be swayed. 53% of Americans feed wearables are bad for society. Though, according to Nielsen, 15% of Americans are wearables users, compared to 4.8% in Japan. 36.6% of users want smart glasses to use them for navigation, 24.8% for learning more information about their surroundings, and 23.6% for taking photos. For wrist wearables 32.1% want to use them for health management, 22.7% for navigation and 19.4% for language translation.
