POP SUGAR – June 11 – A research study published in Medicine & Science in Sports and Exercise concluded that the BodyMedia Fit was the most accurate fitness tracker for calories burned, with a 9.3% error rating. It uses an accelerometer, galvanic skin response, and body heat to produce a calorie count. 8 trackers were tested in comparison to a metabolic analyzer. Here are the complete results:
