READWRITE – May 20 – Leveraging its expertise in projectors, Epson has launched the 2nd version of its Moverio smart glasses. Two tiny projectors display a 960x540 resolution image for both eyes with a 23-degree field of view in both 2D and 3D. The glasses feature a gyroscope to track head movements, but are also tethered to a hand-held control box. Moverio is capable of running Android 4.0 apps. Price: $699.
