BUSINESS INSIDER – May 8 – Bragi has raised over $3M on Kickstarter to develop its Dash smart earphones. Priced at $179, Dash functions as a fitness tracker, heart-rate monitor, Bluetooth headset, music player and standard headphone. Bragi touts Dash as less distracting than Google Glass and smartwatches. Intel and LG are also developing smart earphones.
